Bexley Original Burgandy Pearl

Parker pens used to have life-long warranty. When I recently browsed their website, I noticed that the international warranty has been reduced to TWO years. When buying a Jotter this may not be problem, but a Duofold is a different story....

Pelikan Pens - why are they hard starters?

My only qwery for the newer pens is surrounding Pelikans. I've heard so much about them being hard starters and then I purchased a 650 with a broad nib. It was a hard starter so I sold it in favor of a nice medium. Guess what!? Also a hard starter - meaning it doesn't start writing when put to paper.

I just got my Laban Wood Pen back from Laban Service. The barrel had a stress crack in it starting from the metal threading. It looks like I got a new barrel; I had to double check everything to see if it was a whole new pen! I can see that the section and nib were my old parts, as well as the cap. But I am pleased...

Taccia Nibs

My question is how fine (wide) a Taccia F nib actually is. I have a stock Pelikan F which I bought from Richard Binder, which is a bit broad for my taste. I love my Pilot F nibs, and even my Pilot 78G M nib is nearly as fine as my Pelikan F. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks. Donnie
