I just got my Laban Wood Pen back from Laban Service. The barrel had a stress crack in it starting from the metal threading. It looks like I got a new barrel; I had to double check everything to see if it was a whole new pen! I can see that the section and nib were my old parts, as well as the cap. But I am pleased with the turn around, and the great service I got from Laban!

 

This pen was sent right after the DC show, when I saw the Laban rep there. It was repaired at no cost to me!
