Why are people so fascinated and addicted to this one pen? Is it the nib, the filling system, the build? I have never held, wrote, or even seen (in person) one of these pens and have no idea why they are so special to some people.

My friend has a Parker 88 that won't take a cartridge or converter. It's possible there's a build up of gunk in the pen or maybe something worse. Is this the kind of nib and feed that we can knock out? Or is this screw fit? Hope someone here knows. :)

I love the parker sonnet in cisele and the parker 75 too. I THINK? I have seen a cigarette lighter to accompany either the sonnet or the 75. I've taken period sweeps through E bay without success. Am I dreaming or has someone else seen this? skyp
