Hi Dennis This ebay link is long gone and this info has been a while coming but I think these are the pens you are refering to.
The following information was given to me by Dave Ruderman at the 2009 London pen show.
These pens are known as the Parker oiseau or "Bird" prototypes.
Apparently they were made in the early 80ies at the Meru factory in France.
Allegedly not sanctioned by Parker head office, it was an attempt by the French factory to generate some revenue in difficult times.
The main body was made from sterling silver (fully hallmarked) and the pen has styling themes from the Parker 85 (clip) and Parker 180 (reversible nib).
Numbers are difficult to establish for this pen, though some speculate around 70 total production.
More images of these pens can be found here in a zip file
And before anyone asks, yes I own these pens
Regards Paul.
