Has anyone had experience making an ebonite feed by hand -- that is without a lathe? Any advice would be appreciated. I'm contemplating fashioning feeds from ebonite to see if I can improve upon the ebonite feeds in a number of eyedropper pens I have -- the object being to prevent burping.
You could undoubtedly make an ebonite feed by hand, though it would require steady hands and a great deal of patience. It's unlikely to prevent "burping," which is caused by the elasticity of the air volume in the barrel.
