ink stain on section above nib and feed.

I was wondering if there was a way to remove the ink stain that is right above the nib on the section.  It is in there pretty good and didn't know if buffing with some simichrome would do the trick, or if there are in fact other ways to remove this ink stain.  Thanks guys.  Frank, Denis, how the heck are you guys.  Haven't talked to you in a while.

 Not the busiest forum these days, I'm sorry to say. All I can think of is bleach, but I don't know what it might do to the plastic. An alternative might be to try to stain the entire section up to the ring a darker blue ...
