Dear Funtain/Fountain Pen Community,

Does anyone have any information about the Champion Fountain Pen Company?  Jonathan Levey thinks they may have been a subbrand of Starr Pens.  I know they made pens during a period from roughly 1935--1945, and that--plus what Veley added--is all I know.  All help is wildly appreciated.

Actually, Starr didn't have subbrands, because they didn't actually make anything. Starr just distributed brands or had them made to order.

I've seen a couple Champions lately that bore more than a casual resemblance to pens made by the Southern Pen Co.
