Repair of HR pen cracks

I recall someone posting a note regarding a possible method of repairing HR pens. I understand there is no really good way to "weld" cracks, but I do recall a post. Now was it here, on Zoss or some other site, who knows.

If anyone recalls the post or suggestion please email backline (or post here)
