I'd love to see your scans. We dont have any for sale production pieces yet.
You may want to take a stroll over to http://www.americanartplastics.com/hard_rubber_pricing.shtml and see what Hard Rubber colors strike your fancy. I am using their rod stock for my pens. If they have it in stock I can make it.
Cryptic PS: I was at my machinists shop last night and interesting things happened.

Hey, Dennis. The design looks uncomfortable to hold - there doesn't seem (from the pics) to be enough room on the section or first step to hold the pen comfortably, and the main barrel is far enough from the nib that I'm not sure about that option as well. If you look at Joe Cali's pens (to which I would compare this in terms of size and looks), he's got a relatively long unstepped section before he starts stepping to a wide barrel.
Just an observation, since this is a prototype and obviously I haven't had a chance to hold one. But since I like to write with my pens I would have serious reservations about buying based on these pics.

OK, give me #9 in red green hard rubber with a bold nib, as the award for the logo contest.
It's been a while since I've posted anything in this thread. The company & pens are progressing again. I was set back several months when I let my machinist go again so now the pens are 100% made by me now. I've got the equipment I need & supplies. I've turned a few prototypes out of delryn & am pleased with the results. It's time for me to place a materials order & start turning out pens. I've cut this project so close to the bone that I don't have a proper workshop set up. LOL, much to my wifes displeasure I have a lathe, drill press, mill & assorted tools set up in the living room!
Kurt, remind me what color HR did you want for your logo prize pen?
Stay tuned
