hi guys! i need to remove the section of my recently acquired wearever in need of new sac. do regular automotive spark-plug plyers work??? i know i can get them from "tryphons", but they will get here in a week... i need this pen working now, and i can just run to Kragens and buy them if they do the trick!!
Yup they are exactly the same thing & is what I use. Careful on the levels of torque you apply with them, it's easy to ramp it up to barrel crackin' levels realy fast.

i decided to give it another try just using my hands and the back of my computer mouse pad (it has a great gripping surface)... done!!!... it came out. it took another ten min. to get all the goo out of the barrel because the old bladder almost melted inside with all the heat i applied to the darn thing.
i already installed a new sac and i'm waiting to put everything together and ink it up with.....????? what shoul i ink it up with?...
i definitely have to get me the right section pryers!!
what i do, and i'm no expert, is write circles and lines with strokes up and down. just make sure you rotate your pen evenly when writing circles so you don't get a flat spot (the kit shows you how). then i run the milar paper between the tines if needed to help the ink flow. finally, on the milar paper, i write the alphabet, upper and lower case and signature, once or twice to fit it for my writing style. that's all.
