Jinhao Starry Night



"Hi Norman. Oh, these are just beautiful... I have a few nose-bleedingly
expensive Japanese raden pens and I've become reluctant to use one of them
because the lacquer's pitting. This Jinhao has all the bling and fascination
of raden without my having to worry about damaging them in daily use. The
nibs are wonderful and the whole pen feels well made and satisfyingly
robust. You really can't beat Chinese pens. They never cease to amaze me.

DUKE Carbon Black



Although the Carbon Fibre Black is so named by DUKE, I don't believe that
the barrel is carbon fiber, as the red and turquoise ones are.. Rather, it
has a rather stunning high-gloss lacquer finish on brass, that makes for a
very attractive pen. Hence I've renamed it the Carbon Black.

"The pens showed up and they're great! It's incredible the value in them. I
really like the Duke pen. It's almost as buttery as my Pilot Custom 74. The
nib also seems to be a slight stub, which has a nice effect when writing."
