Today I picked up mail from Saturday, and one piece was eBay item 181241048235. Amongst that mess-in-a-box were these three items, loose and separate:
That's a German-made "Bolascrip" pen and pencil set. I'm assuming the pouch goes with them as it's the right size exactly, and the pen and pencil lack clips. I had never heard of Bolascrip until just this morning when I saw one of Halfhyde's listings for a gold Bolascrip 4-color pencil. Love these coincidences! <G>
Also in the lot were these three pieces:
The cap-actuated repeating pencil and matching old-school ballpoint are only marked "BB" at the tops of their clips. I didn't find anything immediately on-line for a pen maker called "BB," but then I looked at the other ballpoint and scrubbed the gunk off the clip that obscured it's imprint, "Rol-Rite." Searching for that turned up a couple of references to "Rol-Rite Red Head" pens:
And what's marked on the flap of that box? "B•B"!
Fun, eh?
Also in the box were a green Paper Mate "Lady Petite" and an ancient black Parker ringtop button-filler fountain pen, plus a Parker 45 desk pen and a few other tidbits of interest. Out of the entire lot only three or four ballpoints weren't anything to add to my collections, so I'm a *very* happy camper with this lot.
