I realized that I hadn't been here since my intro post several months ago, so thought I'd pop in and show off my new pen. It's a bulb filler, made from resin that I poured. It is dark mica blue with light turquoise swirls and slightly pearly dark and light brown chunks. I call this particular style the Richland. It is large (14mm cap threads), and has a #6 JoWo nib. I made the ink window smaller than I typically think of when I think bulb filler, but wanted to show off as much of the resin material as possible. More on my website if you care to take a look: http://www.pensbylyleross.com/richland-2-mica-chunk-bulb-filler-fountain-pen.html I have a few other recent pens there as well.
On to the pics. I'm happy to answer any questions. Thanks for looking.

How long from start to completion, if I may ask? Hubert
Sure, but unfortunately, not easy to answer. I've never timed myself when making a pen, and I generally have a couple of projects going at once. I would estimate that I take somewhere around 8 hours total on a pen like this one. But, that doesn't account for parts breaking or just not looking right and having to start over. On this pen, for instance, I made a goof that made the cap not quite what I wanted, so I started over after spending probably close to two hours trying to save it. Also, I make my own resin most of the time. The material on this pen is quite difficult to get right, and I spent time re-pouring a few different times. I have no idea how much time I wasted there.
I will admit that I tend to be somewhat of a perfectionist, and probably take too much time.
