I just picked up one identical to this one, but without the engraved American Express logo, and in a silver color. Does anyone know who makes/made these? It takes an older style ballpoint refill  with a small-diameter "business" end. No markings anywhere on the pen or base, and the base appears to be missing its bottom, probably a piece of pressboard with felt on it.
