Retro 1951 Diplomat: Inexpensive Daily Writer

This is my Retro 1951 Diplomat FP that is one of my regular daily writers. It cost a mere $7 in the clearance section of my local (now closed) Tuesday Morning store in 2010. Brushed chrome cap and orange barrel give it a working pen style that I compare to my Parker 45s. I'm not trying to impress anybody with any of them, but they work very well laying down a hot line of verbage when desired.

A moderately wet Medium nib keeps up to my terrible scrawl at any speed. My Diplomat uses the short international carts, and takes a converter, but I don't have one yet. I'll track one down someday.

My shirt came to me, wrapped up all in black, something funny told me, I'd have to send it back.
