G'day and welcome Pengeek,

How far out back are you - I'm in little old Adelaide.

What interests you in fountain pens? Vintage, modern or something else?

Take care,
Roger

Hi everyone! I've recently (in the past couple of months) become interested in fountain pens, and have already aquired quite a few. I can't get enough of reading about them, which led me to this forum. Thanks for having me, and I'm looking forward to having another community to participate in.

 Thanks Scratch. I'm in Alice Springs, so pretty much as far out of the way as you can get. I have a mix of modern and vintage pens...I'm a sucker for anything that takes my fancy. So far I have;

Modern: Pilot M90, Pilot Vanishing Point, Lamy 2000, Lamy Safari, Lamy Dialog 3, Monteverde Invincia Stylus, Jinhao Pocket Missile.

Vintage: Parker Vacumatic, Parker 51, Montblanc 22, Shaeffer PFM V, Pilot Murex.

Hey welcome! I'm a newbie here too. Nice to meet other new members.

It's too funny. I spent about half a year living in Western Australia about 10 years ago. I loved it. I'm in NYC now and hadn't thought about my time down under in ages. Just the other night I was on a first date and our worldly travels came up. Had me reminiscing about my time in your amazing country. Such a wonderful place! I wish it weren't soooooo far away!!!! haha
