The set arrived in my PO box this morning; five days is not bad at all from Canada. The set is exactly as shown in the images, with the three major problems being the two clips and the nib. Clear imprints on both pieces.
On the pen, the lever box is loose but otherwise appears intact. The nib is a little loose and *very* flexible, and I don't see any cracks; I just received a digital microscope so I can look at it more closely later. All the red ripple hard rubber looks good, if a little dull and dirty, with no obvious cracks or dings and a prominent "52" on the butt. I suspect it was put away a *long* time ago after the nib was sprung. Nib reads "WATERMAN'S IDEAL CANADA 2" and looks to have intact tipping.
The pencil is tarnished right at the tip, but holds a piece of 1.1 mm lead snugly. I think this is a propel-only pencil, and it works nicely. The pencil has a lot more shine left to it than the pen does. I don't know whether the butt cap is removable; it doesn't turn or pull and I don't want to force it.
The old faux-snakeskin Sheaffer's box is pretty cool, too.
