Ok. Here is the skinny. I didnt wanna go to ebay and more than likely get less than what I would expect, I came here first. This is an old, well used, Scheaffer flattop lifetime in Jade. The previous owner must have been a writer, cause the pen shows. Discoloration and a bit of a worn down tip. No cracks and needs cleaning. I dont know much about these pens, but I do know that when in doubt dont touch it. Got the white dot, on cap and with cap measures 5 1/4 in. stamp reads,W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO.  PAT AUG 25 08 FORT MADISON U.S.A. DEC.10 12-JAN. 27- OCT.20-NOV. 24.14...... TIP READS SCEAFFERS LIETIME US REG PAT OFF MADE IN USA 1241585..
