I have just left the FPN, after 6 month of struggle with threats, intimidation, and personal insults from their admins and moderators, good friends of Mr. Casanova and Macheavelian Prince of FPN, who created almost a criminal case out of me.

Nothing personal. I just don't want to make people unhappy. I was clearly warned (multiple times) that FPN administration is very unhappy with me and their tolerance towards me wears thin. The reason? I provoke people to insult me. It's like blaming a beautiful women for provoking rapists to rape her, right?

Then they call me names, such as an idiot or a troll. That persistant "troll" name calling from an admin, together with some severe warning about something I still don't understand , pushed me out of that marvelous community. Thank you, guys, for inviting me here!

BTW, what does "troll" actually means?biggrin Do you think that I look like one?

I hope that I deserve another chance and might bring some happiness to this place.

Do you guys like trolls?

I love fountain pens, and highly respect people who sell them, buy them, collect them, and use them.

I have around 100 pens in my collection, vintage and new, various brands - I don't discriminate.

Am I in the right place to share my passion for fine writing instruments?

Welcome aboard, Rita! I think I can safely say that there were and are a number of people on FPN who I would consider trolls, but I don't see you as one of them.

Hi Rita,

I still participate on FPN (check the Repair forum on a daily basis) but have had some warnings some time ago, when trying to get people there to complete my postings at Penpedia. It would have been nice to have an online source of pen model IDs frustrated.gif.

I am also worried about Lion & Pen. Whatever happened to them doesn't seem to be figured out in a few days. It is a lot less active than FPN (or TFPC, BTW) but I have got some very useful assistance from Rob Astyk when I needed it.

Hello again Rita, I had not heard of this place before you mentioned it, but have successfully found it. I did not realize that anything you had said was offensive, or could be construed as such. I have seen you victim of a scurrilous attack. Anyway I am glad that there is more than one place we can share our interests and hobbies. I have to work tonight, but will put up my own intro and make myself an avatar later.
