parts pen... wanted to buy also lady patricia lever box

There's parts pens out there that use the same lever box as a lady patricia.  Would think with 327 users, someone would want to sell something or is this parts forum a dead thread?  2 posts since september?  Doesn't anyone need anything or does everyone go to the other site? tia

My with an attitude like that it's not suprising that someone isn't jumping with joy to give you a part. 


maybe be a little nicer might help.   Or check with some of the internet repair people before being so pissy here.

Sometimes one can develope an attitude as you describe when a supposedly well thought of member of this forum refused to send a 26.50 dollar 100 year waterman pen  when repeatedly asked through email, telephone calls and site pms.  Maybe this is his history, but conintueing the practice doesn't do much good to the supposed rehibilation when one still has to fight over the delivery of the pen and will problably have to suck up the loss all for the good of the seller that won't send what whas been paid for over 2 months ago.  Every one knows who he is and the practice is tolerated.

Then you have other members that offer to sell a part at a selected price and says they will bill your paypal and ship and you wait 10 days and the individual either didn't have the part or decided not to ship all the while you think you have the part and quit looking. 

So you say an attitude like this will get no results.  What more can one do but follow the instructions explicitly and not get the product all the while taking the loss of the money.  It's easy to give an uneducated comment when one doesn't have a clue to the facts and your slap in the face comments were not appreciated as they come off as arrogrance.

Send me a hunderd dollars for a 52 waterman and wait 3 months and after repeated attempts to get the pen from a supposedly reputable member of the forum and then tell me how your attitude is comming out.  tia for your coments

By the wa tivitilus, have you noticed there have been 3 or 4 requests for parts in 2009 from this whole forum.  You might wonder what the reason for this is.  Maybe it's people like you that demand kneeling an d showing a bit of contrition, before one will provide a part with the intention of taking the money and without the intention of delivering the product.  Might be a reason there's only 4 requests for pens.

Btw, with my attitude, I received the leverbox from a member on fpn for the cost of shipping.  The attitude you describe might be coming from the other foot.  So you have 163 posts doesn't make you critique a valad one.  Thanks any way as your comment was uplifting.

 Hold up there a minute.  I was commenting on your initial post knowing NOTHING of the obvious back story.  Read your post as it stands alone then comment to me again.

Once again look at your initial post where you take the entire site to task for not kneeling down and producing multiples of the part you are looking for.
