I first came across Chuck Gedraitis when he was just starting out making folders, but what folders he made. From the very beginning Chuck showed a feel for line and form as well as function. Here are two of his knives and you can see more at his website.

The first is one of the very first folders he made and already I could see the grace that is a hallmark of all of his work. It is a Persian, with Damascus blade and bolsters, mother of pearl scale, wonderful filework and red coral inserts.


The second was made a few years later and has a simple recurved blade, jigged bone scales, Damascus bolsters and lots more of his filework.
