I really like the swan safety. looks like it could have had a gold or silver overlay. Does anyone have one of these or a saved pic of one? I'd love to hear about it. I have yet to use a Swan I didn't just love.

From a Mabie Todd self-filler box- The Mabie Todd Swan is a lever fill, SM 100/60, Swan No. 1 nib. I don't have an approximate date for it. But one of the papers has a list of branches and factories and if we have information on where Mabie Todd held its offices before and after the war, we could estimate the date of the pen.
Very nice indeed. I don't suppose we could get so lucky that your pen may be in the adverts above? That would really help nail down a date.
