I have now stripped down the two Onoto BHR plunger fillers that I acquired at the weekend. Both require washers and seals and will present an interesting challenge. Both have normal 14ct nibs and standard feeds and both pens are exactly alike except one has a no3 nib and the other a no3/st. The 'st is shorter and as both taper equally and fit the same feed and section I surmise that /st stands for 'stiff' as opposed to the standard flexible. Does anyone have any information they can add as there appears to be nothing of relevance on the net? When I get a little further down the line I will take some pictures. Cheers Dave PS I will need slip caps for both of these eventually so any source of supplies will be gratefully received and duly noted!
I will look forward with interest, to hearing about your restoration of these pens. I have an old Onoto that belonged to my mother at school in the mid 1940's. I have no idea how to fix it
I will also look forward to your pics in due course (including any you take during the resto)
Good luck.
Gerard.
