They do look very pretty, almost like those girls that stand on street corners late at night. I also think that I would be able to own a pen like that. They are also surprisingly cheap.
Here's a few Retro 51 pens. The one on the right is definitely one of "THOSE" girls.
Left to right: 70's Vintage Mandarin Yellow cc/cartridge filler, currrent Sciptmaster in white, current Tornado Deluxe in ivory, and finally, a Tornado Rollerball in Lilac, the girl in the group!
Retro 51 is a solid company that took a few years to find it's look/voice. I used to sell them years ago when I worked for the Colorado Pen Co in Orlando Fl. The earlier styles like the Yellow one in Jacks post above are decent pens. All metal & on the heavy side of things. The Tornado capless rollerballs like the lil lilac lady above are dead on reliable & pretty neat.
IMHO The best pen they made was the Limited edition double 8. I don't have asny pics, but a google search will bring one up.

i have a retro 51 tornado in black with a M nib that i bought from Todd at isellpens. it is a very smooth pen, solid metal built... just nice.
the only thing i don't like about these is that not all post very well at the back of the barrel. i tried a few at an art store in san francisco, california (i have to say the state in case you're not from the US- he-he-he) and it was a hit and miss... some posted well and some ddn't.
