I was just wondering: both these manufacturers produced lots of affordable pens in the USA, but did they also export the pens to countries outside the America's?
For example; the UK had a lot of native brands, but were Esterbrook and Wearever also big players on the Britisch market?

Esterbrooks, yes. Some of the very early Relief pens were made by Conway Stewart if memory serves.

Wearever may have exported to the UK & Europe. I don't have any hard evidence, but I've heard rumors they did.
