I also like Bexleys made up in white/ivory. Here is my collection of these beauties:
From Left to Right: Bexley Equipoise (FPH L.E.), Bexley Cable Twist L.E., Bexley Deluxe (button fill), Bexley Deluxe I (c/c fill), Bexley Giant L.E., Bexley Submariner Grande, Bexley Armed Forces "Navy", and Bexley Poseidon L.E. On the far right are two Bexleys commissioned under the name "Molteni" for the eBay seller Outletline, the Salsa L.E. (clone of the Bexley Giant) and Antoinette L.E.
Good grief man, you have to stop with these awesome posts. your going to kill me or give me a complex or something...lol.
I've watched Howards designs & styles evlove over the years n& he just keeps getting better & better.
IMHO, if your looking for the next 'classic pen' like the 51 or snorkel of yesteryear. Look at these kids. They don't have the following of the big boys yet, but they do have a die hard fan club. Myself included, though I don't have any of his work anymore.

I'm seriously thinking of buying myself a Bexley - in particular the Simplicity II in Classic Orange..............alright it's not a Big Red Duofold, but it's probably more practical for everyday use in the modern age.....and cheaper too. I'm thinking the Fine nib - mainly due to the amount (and speed) of writing I do at work versus the time needed for a fat line to dry.
Anyone own one of these pens, or can give me a some advice on how well they might write?
Thanks.
Gerard.
