I am open to buy...for sub $100...User grade WORKING vacs.  Do not care about cosmetics but I want the nibs and filling mechanicals to be working...

If your interested I have a very nice standard size (5" capped) 2Q 1945 gold/brown vac. ///\\\///\\\ cap band. Crisp & clear imprint. Generous medium/broad full flex monotone arrow nib. Flexes to BB. There is a small stripe of brassing up the center of the arrowhead on the clip. It's restored and writes very well.

The only isssue is with the cap. It won't thread on properly. I think the celluloid of the barrel has shrank just enough to not let the threads engage. When I swap out a cap from another same size vac they fit just fine, as does the cap on another barrel. I'm willing to bet the farm that if you have another gold/brown vac the caps will switch out with zero problems. If your interested drop me a private message & we can discuss price.
