I want my clients and friends to be not only happy with the pens bought from me, but to never have to spend another dime on it should it ever give them a problem.

Year of production: Late 1940's early 1950's

Model: Based on the Taperite/Crusader line's

Filling System: Lever Filler

Color: Gold

Material: 14K (not stamped if it's solid or GF) Assume it's GF & hope for the best.

Clarity: N/A

Nib Material & Line Width: Buttery smooth Semi flex 14K BB LF Oblique (a very slight LF say 5 or 10 degrees). 3:1 line ratio. 6/10 on the wetness scale. Flexes to BBB. To say this is an incredible nib is the understatement of the year!

Trim Material: 14K

Trim Condition: Excellent. There is one TINY & I mean TINY ding just to the right of the clip just above where the ball would be.

Imprint Condition: Stamped on the cap lip. The Watermans is strong but the globe is weaker.

Engravings/Personalization: N/A

Capped Length: 5 1/8"

Posted Length: 6 1/2"

Outer Diameter Cap: 1/2"

OD Barrel: Just a hair over 7/16"

Working Condition: 100% ready to go.

Overall Grade: 9.5/10

Issues: Just the TINY ding in the cap and on the top edge of the barrel overlay there is a very tiny & stable split. (see the pics & video)

Comments: I have only seen 2 of these in a dozen years of collecting & restoring. Like I said before I hate the "R" word but I'll use it here. This is a rare pen & man oh man what a superb pen it is!

Other Notes: I picked this one up from Tom Weisterich (sp?)/ Penboard.de.
