All I can say is this is a hell of a sweet buy. Whoever this guyis got one sweet deal. Snapfils don't pop up too often at al, & when the do they are usually usergrade at best. To find one of these in this sort of condition w/ the box & paperwork is almost unheard of.
This seems to be an unusual pen--can't find any reference to a "SNAPFIL" made by General Manufacturing Co , Sioux City, Iowa. This pen is still in the original box (although the label does have some ink staining--still readable). The instructions are still there also--the previous owner has written his name and some other things on the top of the instructions. 14kt nib appears to be in good shape with a touch of silver color at the very tip. We have not checked to see if the bladder is OK on this pen--probably isn't, but we haven't checked. The pen is 5 1/2" long with a beautiful embossed gold metal band. There are no teeth marks or cracks in the case. This is a lever filled pen and there was never a clip--so, all there! Happy Bidding on this unique fountain pen!
