Posted Length: 6"

OD Barrel: 1/2"
Working Condition: 100% ready to go.
Overall Grade: 6/10
Issues: There are 2 issues of note with this beauty. First the blind cap jewel & tassie are obviously incorrect. When I got this one in last year both were missing. I tried to track down new ones but no joy there, so i used the tassie ring from a DJ 51 & a "generic" jewel I had in my parts bin. Yeah they aren't correct but they look better than nothing there at all.
Second, there are 2 cap lip cracks that have been chemically welded & are very stable
Comments: I've had this in my regular rotation for over a year now & it's performed flawlessly. It's been filled with nothing but vintage Skrip Royal Blue to maintain the barrel clarity. The barrel has some light/moderate general overall wear. Overall this is a very nice pen.
Other Notes: The nib is a replacement & is dated 4Q 8. The nib it came with was damaged beyond all hope & was dated 3 Q 35. I can only assume it was the original & this is a fairly early Burgundy Vac.
The Lock Down filler is in excellent condition, free from rust or pitting & has a butter smooth action.
It kills me to have to let this one go but after the tire slashing this morning I don't have much choice.
Price: $225.00
