That's really nice. Are you asking about the general question of sheaffer combos or specifically if there are other combos in the autograph series floating around? skyp
I've seen lifetime combos several times before but this is my first time seeing an Autograph model. Thats just beauitiful my friend.
Please forgive me but I have to ask. Are you sure this is a factory production piece & not a combo body with an Autograph cap that someone swapped in at a later date?
Regardless it's a very cool pen. Thanks for posting it!

Completely Genuine, though I purchased the pen not knowing, even assuming it wasn't. The truth is in the pencil's nose piece, which is .280 inches across the top. A senior sized balance Autograph pencil's nose piece is about .200 inches. And of course marked 14kt.
This late 1933 flier notes that Marine Green is an option for the Autograph line but doesn't mention the Combo. By September of 1935 only black is offered for Autographs. This one would fall in between there, probably 1934.

The cap has a crack in the lip so until I found the hallmark on the nose piece I didn't know if it was 150 dollars well spent on eBay. As far as I know, this is the only one of its kind in existence or at least the only one known to collectors.

Pictured below is the combo next to a large autograph pencil from either 1935 or 1936. Also a picture of both nose pieces hallmarked 14K.

Hi Skyp. I meant Autograph Combos. A lot of people were skeptical of White Dot Pen & Pencil Combinations, including me for a while. But I'd never even suspected an Autograph existed until I purchased this one on eBay a couple of weeks ago. I imagine, since this is a new site and I'm not posting anywhere else, that almost nobody knows even now.
Hi Skyp. The Autograph was a pen or pencil with a large 14k solid gold band around the lower cap. Sheaffer supplied a signature card to be signed and then returned with the pen to have it copied onto the pen by an engraver at their factory. The bands were always solid gold but the clip could be ordered as a gold filled model if a small discount was desired. You'll rarely find those, though. It's one of the areas I collect. I'll throw up a couple of pictures later for you.
