The nib has problems, and more than likely what ever filling system too....something for Richard Binder or some one like him, a professional restrorer.

The pen cost me $1.50 or E-1.
Guilochiert model

Invented in 1930..... Rhinegold pictured in Lambrou's book is 1935...which could be mine, because of the tranparent window....
I have to find out which system is being used, to date it.
It does not have a gold nib, but a steel one, if it says PARGO then it is after 1940.

Just before the war, a new filling system was invented that was used after the war.

The war compleatly destroyed the factory, so comanies like MB and Pelikan were able to pull ahead of Soennecken. Soennecken had been the leading German fountain pen company.

What exactly I bought ,out side of a Soennecken Rhinegold I don't know....the price is unbelivable....out side it will need profession help.

I had wanted a Soennecken, but they were going  for a few bucks more than I wanted to put out on another black pen.
OK this is black....in this case I don't care.

I had not expected to own two Guilochiert models and inside of three days.

Whoops...is not a Soennecken Rhine Gold, but a cheap '50s knock off...ok for the price I can't bitch.

I did buy another this time a "Soennecken" pen...got it reasonable....right...It too was not a Soennecken....It did have a Soennecken wet noodle needing tipping...So for @$26, I got a nib worth repairing.

I'm not too picky...I'd want one in color and not in Black and Gold. And Balck and Gold with The Nib, lay just over my border.......some day, I'll learn to save money....been trying and not quite doing it, out side for an appartment.

I swore not to buy any more Black Pens....since then 11 of 13 have been black.

Can't bitch too much, I don't know if the Geha Goldschwing comes in any color but black. I did not expect to own it.

photo from Penboard.de with permission. If it don't show up, it's then too complicated to try again.
