I managed to build a prototype ballpoint pen, so now I can make them available as one-offs or as part of a set paired with a fountain pen. This pen is a finial twist to advance the ink refill, and the ink is changed by unscrewing the nose cone.
A good-looking pen, Lyle; very attractive. What is the material, and what would you be asking for a pen such as this, perhaps in a hideous green color to suit my peculiar tastes and help prevent it being stolen?
May I suggest possibly eliminating that step behind the nose cone? It looks to be right about where I would hold the pen, and also gives the impression that someone lost a cap ...

Thanks!
I made this from Alumilite resin that I poured myself. The step can definitely be eliminated. This pen was sorta kinda modeled as a pair for a Gallatin fountain pen, and the step is part of the design. Pretty much any shape is in play.
As for pricing, I haven't worked that out yet, but it will be less than a converter filled fountain pen. I'm happy to discuss via email or PM if you'd like. Lyle@pensbylyleross.com
