Worst car I ever bought was the one I owned for the longest time. A dark green first-year 2000 Saturn LS2 V6, a money trap if there ever was one.
But at least I got a pen out of the deal. And the pen has outlasted the car, and in far better condition, too!
It's this twist action ballpoint that has sat in my pen case for 13 years now, seeing only occasional daylight. The refill still writes very well. I have not even opened it to see what refill is in it, unbelievably) and the twist mechanism still is butter smooth. It is most likely made of some cheap base metal, yet the rubber grip is still soft and pliable for a nice feel when writing.
Probably not worth even the $10 I paid for it back when I bought the car, it does have sentimental value. So unless I find out this is made out of solid silver, I'll just note it as an unusual part of my collection of strange pens.

So many bad things about my local Saturn dealer and that car, I could write a book on it. NOTHING was free about that plastic piece of.....work.
BTW - Have you ever checked out the automobile manufacturer websites? Many of them have pens for sale in various degrees of quality. Try the Audi, Mercedes or BMW sites. Lotsa expensive writers there, but no FPs that I've seen.
Here's a nice brass BP I got from Ford/LincolnMercury. Too bad they don't offer it any more.
