Just bought a red Parker Touche, vintage 1966, with the Big Red BP adapter. This was an unsuccessful Parker felt tip model, and they made it into a BP using that two-piece adapter. I always liked the 45, and this is basically a 45 (of which I have 2 FPs), IIRC). It's a smaller-bodied pen, and the plastic is moderately durable, so I'll give this non-heavy-duty use. This is semi-unique, and although I originally wanted a blue or green model, the red was all that was available. I probably should get another adapter for backup, just in case...
I do have one of these "Felt tipped" P45 Parker "Markers"!
I am quite happy with it- it does accept either cartridges/converters.
I do like RB pens that accept/use FP ink, so it was easy to love this pen!

... and it arrived today. It appears to be entirely unused, though the refill is, of course, dry. I'll tinker with rehydrating it one of these days. The companion Jotter ballpoint (brass cap threads, indented logo button) also appears to be unused, and started right up.
All right: the business end of the Touché refill will snap out of its barrel. The tip/wick on mine refused to absorb liquid, so it was pulled out of its plastic holder and replaced with the fiber element from a Platinum Preppy sign pen, available from JetPens: http://www.jetpens.com/Platinum-Preppy-Ink-Tip-Refillable-Sign-Marker-Pen-Tip-Refill-Pack-of-2/pd/2819 (just pull it from its own plastic holder). You'll need to shape the end of this tip that goes into the reservoir as it is coated on the outside, and won't readily absorb liquid except at the very end. I shaved mine into another point.
The fibrous filler inside the Touché refill had disintegrated. Any similar-sized filler, say from a dead rollerball refill, will serve; it needs to be right around three inches in length, but no longer. I had run the one I used through an ultrasonic cleaner to remove the residual old ink, carefully squeezed as much water out as I could, then allowed it to dry standing on end in a glass with a wad of tissue in the bottom. Once it was dry, I inserted the tip assembly into this filler, then stood the filler in a bottle of ink (Lamy blue-black - it was handy), Parker 61 style, and waited until the new tip darkened, showing that ink had traveled all the way to the tip.
I snapped the refill back together, reassembled the pen, and started scribbling. It's a dry writer with this ink, but it does write.
Mine will probably remain a BP, since I don't really use fiber tip pens at all, except for the rare Papermate Flair.
Now that I have a proper refill in the Cross Soft Tip, I have to say that I'm quite impressed with it. Very smooth, fine, blue lines, with about as much effort required as a good fountain pen, i.e. little or none.
I just received another Touché with a replaceable "Fibex" tip, in its box, with a spare, unused tip and two unused (but half-empty) "Super Quink" cartridges, and the instruction sheet. I ran the section through the ultrasonic three times and got *most* of the ink out of the tip, but have so far been unable to remove the used (but still good!) tip. It's supposed to just pull out of the chrome-plated tip, but doesn't want to cooperate.

Mike, Just a thought... Can you scan the Instruction Sheet as a PDF or JPG and upload it here? My pen came with no instructions. Not that the Touche is that complicated, but I and others would find those useful to have available. Hubert
You got it! The board software reduces it in size; let me know if you want a bigger copy and we'll work out the logistics.

Mike,
Just a thought...
