Slight using signs and some brassings.

One perfectly repaired very thin hairline on turning knob.

One perfectly repaired very thin hairline on cap lip.

Extremely clear ink window.

 

This is a very beautiful Pelikan 101N Tortoise - Mother of Pearl from 1940's.

 

The pen has a celluloid cap, barrel, and brown celuloid mechanism/turning knob. Piston-filler. Physically in excellent condition but with two mini hairline repairs.

 

The pen barrel is the dark green celluloid. The celluloid sleeve on the barrel is very beautiful Tortoise - Mother of Pearl.

 

The fountain pens captop has the Newer Pelikan logo. The logo is sufficiently chrysp. There is another imprint just above the clips which reads twice Pelikan DRP not so chrysp.

 

The nib is brillant and in ecellent condition. Original Pelikan 14k, flexible, - Extra Fine.

It is a pleasure to write with this nib.

 

The pen measures 119 mm in length (capped) and 153 mm posted.

The cap is 13 mm and the barrel is 12 mm in diameter.

 

THE PEN IS IN PERFECT PHYSICAL CONDITION AND OF COURSE READY TO WRITE.
