I think this thing looks a LOT better with all the paint removed from the barrel, a real "flighter" appearance if it weren't for the black plastic "jewels" and "band."

Gentle scraping lengthwise to remove the paint, then gentle twisting in a piece of ScotchBrite. I hadn't seen this pen anywhere before yesterday, just the SS Sharpie marker.

One heads-up: the clip on my pen is *very* tight, and apparently too sharp under the ball, as it snagged on the fabric and tore a hole in my shirt's pocket. Proceed with caution.
