Santa, (the Mrs) was quite good to me for Christmas, and gave me three new pens to play with. The one I have here is an Xikar Pocket Pen, similar in concept to the Fisher Space Bullet Pen. The Xikar is thinner, and features a burled wood (rosewood, I think) barrel and a metal front section. It is tiny, and just fits into my hand, so it's only for limited writing sessions. It is supposed to take a Parker style refill, but I can not easily remove the section to check it out, so I'm just going to leave it and take the vendor's word about it using the Parker refill for now. The included refill writes a smooth, medium line, and flows words onto even cheap paper quite easily.
It's very nice looking, and seems to be well-made, with a push-on cap and nicely polished wood. The clip may be a weak point, but since I don't abuse them, it should hold up well for me.
It's a distinctive looking pen, but today I can't find it on the website, so it may no longer be offered. http://www.russellsformen.com/
I sent them an e-mail in February asking for assistance, and have not received a reply yet. I have a feeling it may be a long time coming, if they reply at all. They are in the business of making smoking accessories, not pens, so I'll just wait a bit longer before asking again nicely.

Although I couldn't make it fit, I knew I'd have to try. Now I'm telling all of you, I will never buy....
