These are two of my new Cross Townsend FPs that I converted from rollerballs. The Ruby Red has a very smooth Medium nib that is quite wet and broad for a medium. The Titanium Herringbone pen has a fine nib installed, which I have yet to test.
Here's some pics:

Direct from Cross, so these are Chinese nibs. So far, the quality seems to be pretty high, but they are brand new, after all ... I have another Townsend and 2 Century 2000s that have the earlier nibs. Not sure where/who is the OEM country/source for those, but they are maybe just a micron nicer in appearance and writing.

Although I couldn't make it fit, I knew I'd have to try. Now I'm telling all of you, I will never buy....
I'm by no means a customizing soul - but the pens were available at a local discounter, and I still have one more titanium finish RB to convert when I can afford another nib! The nibs are of good quality, even factory fresh with no adjustment!!!

Another Cross ... this is my Solo Sport fine point, another Cross pen with a great nib out of the box. It weighs a lot less than the Townsends, so it's nice for longer writing sessions. White is not my favorite color, but it is an interesting variation in my collection.
