Hello from the lovely state of Pennsylvania. My name is Stephen and I am still not a collector but rather I am selling Vintage Office Supplies which includes many pens, papers and inks. At this point all of my pens, nibs, inks and paper sales have been on Ebay (hopefully I have some customers here) but I will be launching my own site next year (a few weeks). I really do not know much about pens so most of my time is spent learning and connecting with others. For example: Yesterday Len helped me identify an older "cuir bouilli" Traveling Ink Well. Without his help I would have continued to believe it was just an older inkwell. Now that I understand the significance and age and how it is made, I have gained a new appeciation for another aspect of pen collecting. I continue to be amazed at the zeal, fervor and passion pen collectors have. I also am finding them "particular" and as I gain more knowledge I understand why.
I plan on posting pictures of the many displays I have purchased along with the ephemera I have, it blows my mind. As I said, I sell but I also want to be sure we capture photos for everyone's enjoyment. So thank you in advance for any help or guidance you can give. I also ask for your patience as I try to learn, what seems to be quite complicated, about the many types, brands, workings and history of pens.
