This show is always held around the beginning of the year, and gives pen makers (and collectors!) a chance to show (see) the latest and greatest!
I have read that Dante Del Vecchio (Visconti) will be there again this year to launch a new pen. He was there this past January to show the Homo Sapiens line!
This show is one of the larger venues, and should not be missed!

I'm debating going. Not a real friendly room overall. I am well aware that there are cultural differences as I'm coming from a more southern area of the country to the NE. And you can add in people's different experiences- whether as a seller, buyer or browser. Maybe it's me and I take full responsibility for this opinion.

The show was teriffic! I got some pens repaired by Ron, and I bought the Visconti Rembrandt from the gang at FPH. I bought the FP, but was torn between that, and the new Eco-Roller.
Notable show attendees also included Mayor Michael Nutter, who received one of the LE Visconti Declaration of Independence pens from Dante Del Vecchio himself! Visconti only made 76 examples of the 14k version. Dante was also at last year's show to launch the Homo Sapiens line.
Boxing champ Joe Frazier (Philly native and resident) was also there at the Montegrappa (Aquila) table to promote the Ali/Frazier pen ("Thrilla from Manilla"). I got to meet both the mayor, and the champ as well as their autographs!
Never know what (who) you'll find at a pen show!
