Thought I'd declare a Pen Posse in Sacramento at 1 p.m. on 4/10 at Tres Hermanas in Sacramento.

The first of the pen posses in Sacramento was held in this restaurant, and it has some really good Mexican food.

I don't know about any pen or stationery places in the area that might be fun to visit after, though.

Do wish the eastern seaboard had something similar.   Maybe my next far east trip will be through Frisco!
