I don't know anything about this company. Does someone else out there? For my money, the blotting paper ad in the second image is the real gem here . . . .

They're Esterbrooks, made under contract in Britain by Conway Stewart, using relief (oblique) nibs supplied by Esterbrook.  They were well-made pens, and have a strong following among collectors.  Most of those that appear in ebay are black, with a red ring under the clip screw.  They sell well, and those that are in coloured celluloid fetch a high price.  You can see some examples here:

My pleasure!  Thanks for the welcome.

The advertisement that brettttt admired is from Ford, once not only the biggest supplier of blotting paper in Britain, but also the seller of the Ford Patent Pen, an upstroke plunger-filler that held an ocean of ink.  There's an excellent article about them here:
