The tubing I've seen, solid rods I've not.
Found a place that sells .57" [14.8mm] tubing by the foot, 23 gauge [0.023"] wall thickness at bottom of this page at Sante Fe Jewelers Supply.
Not sure that helps, I just Googled "Silver Tubing" and came up with a few Sites that sell it, including that one.
Thinking of making a silver pen, perhaps a repair?

All I will say is I am working on something HUGE, so huge it will take the pen community by storm and it will be unveiled at the 2010 LA Pen show.

So uh yeah, what's your curiositylevelometer reading now?

I can point you to 1/2 tube but what might be better is getting sheet silver and bending around a mandrel

I was talking to my jeweler today & he agreed a flat sheet welded together would be easier and better quality.
