I've been accumulating (I hesitate to call myself a collector) fountain pens for perhaps thirty years, off and on, but have only recently been really enthusiastic about using fountain pens in my daily life. I currently have twenty pens inked, and three more uninked (two in need of repair, one a spare), or six if you count three Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph technical pens. Most of my pens are modern, say 1970 and later, but three are WWII-era gems. One of those is one of the pens in need of repair, but the other two are inked and in daily use.
I'm 48 (until November), married, and have only the youngest of four children still at home. I'm presently unemployed, which has cut deeply into my funds for supporting my habit, but I still manage the occasional purchase (I received two Hero pens in the mail today!).
I live in Escondido, where so far I have found only one other fountain pen enthusiast, so if there's anyone else here in Escondido or nearby, I'd love to hear from you, on or off this forum.
Okay, enough of this; the Tobermory is trying to take over my fingers, so I'll be off.
