Today let's have the steward brew a nice cup java and bring it to your recliner on the deck. Return to the time when POSH still meant Port side OUT and Starboard side In, when the journey was leisurely and  as much fun as the destination.

When I was at school the CS pens were the highest definition of status. Such a pen showed the wealth of the parents. I was never able to get one until very recently, when a very generous acquaintance gave me a #27. It is very similar in appearance to the blue marbled pen above, but with a much broader gold band. From a writing point of view It is a super pen, and I have it inked here on my desk right now. My only complaint about it is the filler lever, which moves around in the slot and needs to be carefully manipulated into place to use, and to put back in place after filling. It slips about one sixteenth of an inch in both directions from its detente position.
