Esterbrook Nibs- NOS

I have many Esterbrook nibs available!

All are NOS, in their original boxes. First I want PM will get the item. I prefer Paypal, but will consider other payment options. Add $2 USPS shipping US/Canada for 1st item, $1 for each additional item. Feel free to PM me with any questions!

I never got into Esterbrook nibs. What is all the hoopola over the 3000 and 8000 series Estie nibs? They seem to fetch rather high prices on Fleabay.

I'm not sure myself on that one, Jack!
It probably has to do with rarity.
Usually the only nib series found in "the wild"
are 1xxx/2xxx (standard non-tipped steel),
and 9xxx (iridium-tipped steel).

3xxx are very pretty and have a (iridium-tipped nib tip, like the 9xxx
8xxx are tipped with palladium, from WW2 so are scarce.

I knew the 9xxx nibs were tipped, but wasn't sure about the others!

So, need any cheap nibs? biggrin
