Why aren't more folks contributing.  At least log on and tell us a bit about yourselves, your pen collecting interests, favorite pen, other hobbies, etc.

Good to hear you are up and about again Dennis.  I thought you must have either been crook or had gone away for a while.

Your improved health is welcome good news after the world stock market's beating lately weirdface

**** I thouht I'd better put a post script in here, crook is the Aussie vernacular for feeling ill.  I didn't mean you may have been out being a criminal!! LOL   Thought I'd better clear that up!

Thanks for the concern & warm wishes guys. It means a lot to me.

Deon
It would take a team of plow mules & a dozen fat girls to keep me from that concert. I've wanted to see these guys live for waaay too long & there is no way I'm missing it.

Aussie

LOL Funny. It never fails to amuse me when I hear cultural expressions like that. As a young teen, I nearly wet myself when I heard a cigarette called a fag.

Hmm. That might be an interesting thread for Musings.

I made the great mistake of not Fla Marketing a pearl Grey Eastie...six weeks later I got a box of Eastie pen parts, and need to buy pen parts...how odd.

I have discovered Turtle wax is good enough for me. It puts a good enough gleam on some old pens...I had it,and everything else costs money.

I need now J-bars (them I know where to find, but the west I don't. I need plastic half cylinder thingamabobs, and new lever springs...some are rusted....rubber erasers...to situate those plastic 1/2 cylinder thingamajigs once I get around to ordering more J-bars, 12 size 16 rubber sacs, shellac, and talc.
Some of the thingamajigs were out when I got the pens, some came out with the J-bar and some are missing.
Who can help me with someone who supplies thingamajigs, lever springs, and I can cut erasors my self should I know exactlywhat size. The one in the Single J is of course bigger than the one in the SJ. Them I have one each. I need to find out what are the sizes for the Double J which are missing them, and so is the LJ missing erasers.
I have the distinct feeling I should have bought repaired pens.

Now I got to learn to write too.
