The prize pen.

A first year/model 1947 Demi Waterman Crusader with the anodized aluminum "lumalloy" cap. (also the first time this style cap made an apperance)

One of the big selling points in '47 was these pens all had hand shaped/ground nibs. These pens are dead on reliable & write like a dream.

Congratulations Gerard! (who was also our 1000th poster)

LOL Ractionary, I'll have another contest next week, there will be PLENTY of choice vintage goodies to be had in the near future.

I'm thinking that next weeks prize will be a set of my FP Repair DVD's.

Now to think of another contest....hmmmm..

The Taperite is a different model from the Crusader.

No sweat at all my man.

I really wanted to give a hint or say something about the taperite guess, but it wouldn't have been fair to give a leg up so to speak.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas for next weeks contest? I'm always open to new ideas.
