SHEAFFER POLL - The Most Over-Rated Sheaffer Pen

Isn't this just the question that lurks in the back of our Collective mind.  Most of my pen collection comes from the White Dot Groupies.  But there are just some that don't turn my crank.  I'll have to think about it before I answer my own poll.  These pens are pretty much the main line ones that sported a gold nib.  Did I miss any?

ps - I'm purposely not including different filling systems ie lever & vac fil Balances.  That's a different poll for a different day.

I guess most modern Sheaffer's are overrated. I voted for the modern Crest, because it is an ugly metal pen. The Valor is waaaaaay too expensive compared to a Pelikan. Read this article: http://www.penhero.com/PenGallery/Sheaffer/SheafferValor.htm

I voted for the Valor but would have chosen the last 3 on the list if I could have. Modern Sheaffers just do little and nothing for me at all.

My thoughts exactly, Dennis.  I too voted the Valor (overpriced) and feel the same on the other last few.
